Did you let it ''start to boot'' into Windows before shutting it down i.e. Windows startup logo on screen?

It needs to boot as it is Windows that starts the repair startup not the BIOS. BIOS gets it ready to boot i.e. manufacturer’s logo on screen

If still no good create a Win 10 recovery USB from any known working Win 10 PC.
In the host PC go to ''Control panel > Recovery > create a recovery disc'' and follow the prompts.
You will need an 8GB flashdrive and 40-60 minutes of time.
When you have the USB, insert the USB in the laptop and start the laptop and get into BIOS and then enable Legacy USB (or CSM), save the changes, then restart the laptop.
It should boot into the Windows Recovery menus off the USB. Go to ''Troubleshooting > Advanced'' and select the option you want.
