Ignition system starter circuit

I have full power up to the 2nd position of the ignition switch. When I turn the switch to the start position nothing. Why do I not have power from my switch to the starter relay but checking voltage at the switch all wires have the correct voltage at the appropriate times in the appropriate positions except the start position
