Contact cement or double sided tape will work. Just make sure that it's Scotch 3M. If you apply Contact cement, use a 1mm fine brush like the children water color brushes and apply it to both sides(the housing and the glass). Let it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes then apply them together and after let it cure for at least 2 hours. But before all that make sure you clean the housing and the glass with 60%-alcohol, 40%-water mixture. Now the double side option is a little tricky but a quicker insulation. You'll need a x-acto blade 11(make sure it's a new blade) and a double sided tape roll. Clean the housing and the glass with 60%-alcohol, 40%-water mixture. Use a Q-tip to clean them. Roll the tape around the inner housing, with the x-acto blade trim out the extra tape from the edges but be-careful that you don't damage any wires, ribbons, etc,. Once you done then apply them together. The good thing about using Scotch 3M tape and contact cement is that its identical to original adhesive used. Well hope that helps. Good luck with that.
