My unit was purchased in mid-2016 and worked well for the 18 months or so. this spring i found the EC code figured it was because the air was dry but it persisted. As recommended by others I called customer support had to provide them with the model and serial number as well as the store information. Although the unit is just past the second year of warranty they indicated they would have a replacement offer. Am waiting for someone from back office to call me.
