Hi @ariasatlas ,

Just verifying that you have tried other known working DVDs and they didn’t work either?

If so, software doesn’t clean the lens. You need to physically clean the lens

You have two options:

a) Purchase a [https://www.target.com/p/uber-laser-lens-cleaner-blu-ray-dvd-and-cd-cleaner/-/A-10690717|DVD lens cleaning disc] (example only) and use it to clean the lens. Just search online for other suppliers that may suit you better.

b) Use the ifixit [guide|38855] guide to open the player to gain access to the lens and ''gently'' clean it with a Q-Tip moistened with Isopropyl Alcohol 90%+ (available from most pharmacies).
b) Use the ifixit [guide|38855] guide to open the player to gain access to the lens and ''gently'' clean it with a Q-Tip moistened with Isopropyl Alcohol 90%+ (available from most pharmacies).
