looks like TAB error. Unlikely that this was from you flexing the display. (Bet you made an interesting face as it happened :) Remember where you got it from, so this may have been one of the issues why it was where you found it. Anyhow, I'd proceed with trying to figure out what the issue is. You already know that you need to replace some of the LED strips. Once you replace those and you still have still the issue with the backlight, check the power supply board.

For the TAB error, once the screen stay lit, apply some pressure on the thin ribbon cable that terminates at the top of the LCD panel, directly over where those lines are. If the lines disappear or change then you know it's a TAB error. It refers to the bonding of the ribbon cable to the panel. Basically the ribbon cables are glued and the glue has come off (very simplified)
