The iPhone 5C is prone to micro-fractures due to the weaker plastic housing. They are very difficult to see, usually requiring ~30X magnification. You could replace one IC and then have other latent problems down the line. Of course, it could just be a regular Cumulus type replacement too. This is not a trivialrepair and if you haven't done one before, be prepared to possibly having an unusable phone. Worst case, it's a practice session, best case you solve your propblem. As @mayer points out, given the current resale value of a 5C, it is not always worth repairing. However, in some parts of the world, repairing is the only option. You have to decide what is best for you.
