This is a common issue when it comes to the lightning charger. These are some solutionsa lot of solutions that I got from [http://vkrepair.com/iphone-6-2/this-accessory-may-not-be-supported/|here]:

+Your usb cable isn't a genuine Apple cable.

+ The quality of knockoff cables is low.

+Make sure that the cable isn't damaged.

+Clean out the data port: Lint and other dirt may have gotten in. Use a paperclip and blow into the hole to clean it.

+Clean the head of the usb.

+Try another outlet brick.

+Try plugging it into the computer.

+Try plugging it into other usb ports on the computer.

+Flip the head of the charger.

+Try the airplane trick.

+If all fails, your iphone will still charge while it is turned off.
