Now when a charging cable is inserted, it goes in but there is no audible click and is loosely fitting. Is there a way to fix this without a port replacement? Is there a way to bend something in the connector so it grips the lightning plug more?

I think it's the wings inside of the lighting plug that are loose but is there a way to bend it inward without a device disassembly? I have a photo of what I am referring to below.
