iPhone 7 Plus: Ear Speaker not working after repair

I want to throw my example into the pile because I believe now that their is an ear speaker problem that can originate outside of the front camera flex and the screen. Specifically the one where only the ear speaker stops working but everything else is fine. I had this problem come up on a phone and I was able to get another working iphone 7+ and just attach the entire assembly to the phone and it still didnt solve the problem and it was fine when I reattached it to the original phone This is also after trying two new ear speakers and front camera assemblies. I really feel like we need to also start looking outside of the screen assembly for a cause to this problem because it seems like elsewhere on the forums people are still having this issue.

iPhone 7 Plus: 7+ home button unresponsive but causes phone to freeze when touched

I attempted to repair a iPhone 7 plus after previously fixing a iPhone 7 with no issues.

When the repair was done it said Touch ID not working but the phone would freeze for a minute when the home button was touched. When the home button is touched no vibrations or anything.,

I also tried a different LCD and also the original screen but it still has this issue. I also tried a iPhone 7 home button knowing the touch ID wouldn't work but I wanted to see if the vibrations would allow it to at least function with out the touch ID.

I took the necessary precautions i.e; disconnecting battery, not hitting metal on metal, didn't rip any cables.

I've done multiple resets; holding power/volume down button.. nothing works

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

iPhone 7 Plus: No microphone after replacement lightning flex

Hi, I have an iPhone 7 Plus with a non working microphone. I can’t record audio from videos, Siri in irresponsive and third parties app with microphone access do not record anything. The voice memo app can’t even record. The phone can’t detect headphones and even Bluetooth headphones with built in microphone are not working.

I thought it was a microphone issue, so I replaced the lightning flex. However the problem is stil here.

How can I solve?

Update (04/12/2018)

I did a complete wipe, but it didn't work.

Maybe is the replacement defective as well as the old one,(I bought at 5euros on ebay).

May it be an issue with other microphones? as the rear microphone or the front microphone , since i did not replaced them?

Yes the problem appeared by itself. However, connecting Bluetooth headphones works(I can dictate the text), whereas the lightning headphones are not detected. Also speakers do work.

iPhone 7 Plus: 7 plus ear speaker not working after screen replacement

Ever since ios 11 came out I have been having issues only with 7 plus. i dont know if its the screen itself or the way i am taking out the ear speaker.

not all the time but 2-3 times. once i put everything together. screen works, even front camera works but ear speaker doesn't work. regular speaker, touch everything seems to be working.

we do have original screens as well. even with oem screens i am having that issue sometimes.

and even if i take brand new ear speaker part out from different 7 plus and install it on customers it still doesn't work.

what could be the reason? is it the way I take it out? or the screen, or its software related?

iPhone 7 Plus: Why do I have Internal screen stain on my iPhone

Hi, please I thought iPhone 7 was supposed to be water resistant but after I merely rinsed my phone for like 2 seconds after it got dust on it, the next day I began to notice water stains under the screen and I google it and multiple sites say it will easily dry after drying it in uncooked rice which I did. The problem now is after it dried it left a yellowish stain in the internal screen. Any idea how I can fix this?

Thanks.

iPhone 7 Plus: Phone will sound and show volume in phone mode only!

I just bought a new iPhone 7plus and already I'm having a problem with volume. I noticed after a couple weeks it stopped sounding text tones, alerts, etc and even keyboard clicks. Even if I go to settings and choose dif sounds for txts and various alerts, the only ones you can hear are the ringtones. Also, my first clue that there was a problem was when I initially went to adjust the volume. I noticed the bottom sound Level bar didn't even exist. It does however if in phone mode. What the heck apple??

iPhone 7 Plus: Logic board problem please help

Hi!

I updated my Iphone to the most recent update and noticed it was very slow and my calls, earphone jack and camera app wasn’t working. So I tried to restart my phone however it was just stuck on the Apple logo. I then tried to restart it through my Mac book I did work but it took 4-5 hours to come back on.

The next day my phone switched off completely. I rang Apple care and my phone was still at the Apple logo. So she booked me in with the Genius’ at the Apple store.

The genius guy took a look at my phone and said I had many panic logs so there is a problem with my logic board and because I was in warranty was happy to ‘repair’ however upon taking off my screen protector he noticed a small crack on the bottom left corner of my phone and explained that he couldn’t ‘repair’ it without playing £169 to repair the screen to guarantee their work. (Understood) however I wasn’t happy to pay that price. Anyway to cut a long story short I have had a three week case open with Apple care with this problem. And I have now found out (reading many articles and speaking to an ex Apple Genius) that a logic board on an IPhone 7 Plus cannot be repaired. Therefore the phone has to be replaced.

So I don’t understand what the £169 I would have to pay would be for?

Also are crash logs a genuine way to detect a logic board failure or are they just BS’ing me?

Has anyone has this problem? Or is there anyway to fix this problem by myself?? The phone is just a year and two weeks old. (Still in warranty because I reported problem while in warranty)

(Screen is working fine. It’s a hairline crack in the bottom left corner. Earphone jack, Siri, no sound with recordings on social media apps. Camera app and phone calls are not working)
