Seagate Technology Hard Drive: 机械硬盘能否拆卸并复原？

在4年前我买了一块希捷的机械硬盘，在去年年底的时候坏掉了，插上电之后在电脑上并没有显示这块硬盘，但是能听到里面有磁盘转动的响声和运行的震动感，还有好像是什么地方卡住了一样的卡卡声，根据查资料怀疑是读取写入用的磁头卡住了，我能否将机械硬盘拆开并将磁头手动复位，我想要恢复里面的数据并转移到另一个硬盘里，硬盘如果拆开修复后还能用的话最好，不行的话就算了，能否以使用寿命来换取数据恢复的可能性？

Hi guys, my harddrive is now RAW, how do i convert it back to NTFS, I have been using a software called HDD Regenerator, its been a week still regenerating. Currently it has scanned 777mb out of 320gig.. Kindly assist with a software that is fast.

Storage: An nvme ssd suddenly became unstable out of nowhere

-Device: Dell Latitude E5470

-Drive: Kingmax PQ3480 512GB (72% health left and 0 Media Integrity Errors)

So I was recently playing a decently light game that requires not so much writes for the ssd then out of nowhere a YSOD(Yellow Screen of Death) flashed my screen for a sec then my laptop rebooted.
After that,it showed "No boot device found" as I remembered, it also disappeared in the UEFI/BIOS .I have to re-seat / do a cold boot in order for it to show up again tho I cant log in Window at that moment (I can sometime access the lock screen until a few secs later , a BSOD with the error code WHEA... happened . Same goes with Safe mode).
However,I can still access the drive through a rescue usb(WinPE boot environment) and do light tasks on it.But the moment I start doing some loads on it like testing its speed using Victoria , it disappeared in the eyes of WinPE.It finds it again after a restart.
I thought it might be something with the heat so I directly blowed my fan into it and it was able to boot into Safe mode and even Window,I even successfully ran a chkdsk and it found no problems.(Note that the ssd ran perfectly fine even under loads before the incident)
Sadly my laptop didnt have a built-in heatsink for the ssd and Im running on a budget rn so I cant buy a new ssd.I have backed up my files to be prepared for the worst.

(the ssd still cant log into Window without a direct fan blowing at its face,I also noticed that the ssd is quite hot after some (2) failed boots and WinRE. The power chip might be leaking? idk)

Im a student and I really need this ssd.Hope someone out there could help me with this:P

Western Digital My Passport Ultra: Prying open hard drive

Hello - the actual external hard drive I have is a Western Digital easystore 2TB hard drive. The reason I chose the My Passport Ultra is because its practically the same size, form and shape as the easystore EXHD I have. Unfortunately earlier this year when I was getting my new computer all setup, I dropped this hard drive of mine on the floor as it was on top of the CPU. Now, the hard drive just makes a clicking noise every time I plug it in. I wanted to see if there was a way I can extricate the hard drive itself from the case and use a recovery reader I have . However, it seems impossible to do with no way to slither my way through the edge of the hard drive casing.

Device: Seagate One Touch (Hub version)

The Issue: I accidentally used the power adapter from my Roborock H7 Handheld Vacuum to power my Seagate One Touch external desktop drive.

The Specs Mismatch:

Seagate Requirement: 12V / 1.5A - 3A
Roborock H7 Charger Output: 25.6V / 1.4A
Result: I sent more than double the required voltage into the drive.

Current Status: The drive is currently unplugged. I am worried about the internal controller board or the drive motor being fried. I haven't tried plugging it into my computer yet because I’m afraid of a short circuit damaging my PC's USB ports.

My Questions for the Community:

Is there a high likelihood that the TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) diode on the HDD's PCB sacrificed itself?
Should I attempt to "shuck" the drive (remove it from the Seagate enclosure) and try connecting the internal SATA drive directly to a PC or a different SATA-to-USB adapter?
If the PCB on the hard drive itself is burnt, is a DIY board swap possible, or does the BIOS chip need to be moved to a donor board?

Any guidance on how to test the internal drive safely without risking my computer would be greatly appreciated!

I inject the drive in the USB socket. It shows the USB drive is there but any files of the cruzer blade do not open.

My MyBook fell to the floor right where the USB connector plugs into the USB port. It has no symptoms of hard drive damage but I believe it needs a new connection port that is unique.

External Storage: Reusing VanTec NexStar NX enclosure (NST-239S3B-BK)

This enclosure has a pulled HDD (500 GB) from an Apple Mac mini (Macmini4,1; Mid 2010). The HDD does not seem to be working. Have tried reseating sled into SATA connector. Have a couple of pictures of HDD and a screws

holding the HDD to sled. Any suggestions about HDD failure?

If no function of HDD, would like to remove HDD from sled and install a new SSD. The picture of screw is not very sharp. Making an ID of screws not easy. Do not have the bit to fit screws. If screws are ID, can buy screwdriver from ifixit store.

I have a Crucial 32 Folding flash drive. Worked fine on Tuesday night, plugged it in on Wednesday morning and... Nothing. Absolutely nothing! Problem is, it contains ALL my files (of course) which I need (of course). Is there a way to fix it myself (I have a "little bit" of electronics skills) , or should I send it off and jus pay the $$$$ to have it fixed and data recovered? Any ideas, suggestions? HELP?

so got hit with the no power problem. i got that problem fixed by getting a new power board. and saved all the important things on my hard drive. so my question now is if i remove it and plug it into a external hard drive trey or plug it directly into my pc via sata and reformat it will it work or will the wd encryption brick it?
