Sewing Machine: Repair manual Bernina 1001 or 1000-series?

Having problems with the bottom thread; on the top a straight stitch, on the bottom a rather loose "S"-shape bobbin thread. Tried all kinds of upper- and bobbin-tension settings, needles, threads. Hook seems to be on time; no "pick-up" issues. The feed-dogs seem on time. Top-tensioner seems to work fine too. Have 2x metal bobbin holders, tried with different bobbins (metal & plastic), tried all kinds of tensions; same result. I just can't figure out what causes the problem.

It would be nice to get a repair manual to check the settings / timings against my machine.

Has anybody a repair / service manual of the Bernina 1001? (the current Bernina 1008 model seems very identical)

Singer Brilliance 6180: I got a C4 error. It will turn on, but not sew

I recently got a C4 error on my machine. It turns on, but when I try to sew, it doesn’t work and instead gives me a beeping C4 error. Before I got the error the tension felt tight. I didn’t find many YouTube videos that related to this issue, any that were helpful. I took it to a repairman but he said the circuit board was bad. I don’t think he was right, because he then tried to sell me another machine. I know I might have to replace it, but I still want to know if it’s truly a circuit board issue.

Sewing Machine: Problem is in sewing machine, but relates to ANY MOTOR :)

Someone has done a wild repair in this sewing machine, looks like they've used epoxy resin to fix a small crack, then just spread the rest around for fun.

I don't know anything about resin, and only a bit about motors. I have 2 questions please:

1) The resin is blocking about 1/4 of the ventilation holes for the motor. Will this affect the motor's ability to cool down?

2) Is this amount of resin in general bad for the motor? Is it affected by heat?

Thanks for any help :)

Sewing Machine: Skips threading in between sewing.

Hey everyone!

So heres a good question. Does anyone know why a commercial grade juki sewing machine would be skipping stitches while sewing? I work at a location where this happens a lot and we have to outsource the labor for repairs. However it would be beneficial for the company to have someone there to fix this issue. Please let me know as far as what could be the issue and maybe how to go about this maybe? I do appreciate all of you guys and thank you for your help!
