Rotary Tool: I need a bridge rectifier for my vintage Dremel tool

I have a vintage Dremel "Moto-Tool", model 270 series 66-2. It stopped working recently and a part was blown. I figured out it is a bridge rectifier. It is between the mains and the motor. It's a pretty simple circuit.

My challenge is finding this part. Does anyone know what the specifications of this part is and where I can find one? Thanks!

Ryobi Cordless Brad Nailer P320 2016: How is this part not available?

My nailer took a tumble down the stairs and broke the metal bracket that the “no mar contact tip” attaches to (part of the depth set mechanism and the piece that sticks the furthest away from the body of the tool.) I've searched all the parts websites and it seems every o-ring and screw and other part is available, but I cant find this one and can't even find a good name for it. Not willing to buy a new tool over a $5 part. Can anyone help?

Does anyone out there have an exploded view of Dewalt part # 395666-01SV, gear case assembly for a Dewalt DW980XRP 1/2" cordless drill driver, Type 1, 12 volt? It would greatly assist me in reassembly! Yes, it's vintage, But that's why were here, right? It's possible that other Dewalt drill gearcases may be similar so let's see what you've got!

FixHub Smart Soldering Iron: Soldering Iron failed firmware update

I tried to update the firmware on my FixHub Soldering Iron. But the update failed partway through and now the iron seems bricked. It isn't recognized by either the Power Station or a computer.

Is there anyway to fix this?

FixHub Portable Soldering Station: Ifixit Soldering Station Problems keeps disconnecting

So i bought a Ifixit Hub and within in a week both tips failed and i was getting battery errors showing on the hub, so contacted ifixit and they sent me out a replacement hub and iron. But sadly this one did not work either, after playing around for a few hours i found that i had to keep unplugging the usb c until the iron registered with the hub then i would have to unplug the tip a few times to get it top actually work.

I was then asked to update the firmware but then found out the updater was switched off due to a current firmware issue, but they have fixed that now and i was able to update the firmware. The Soldering iron does seem a little better but i still have to unplug it a few times to actaully get it to work. When i switch the hub on the iron shows as connected and the temp shows but as soon as i switch the iron on it disconnects and i have to unplug it a few times to get it to work again.

Has anyone else had this issue and found the way to fix this?

I love the design etc but i need it to just work!

Sadly contacting for support is very slow and can take a few days just to get a reply to say update firmware, or have you tried removing the tip etc, basically the first things you would check and not need to be told to check! They really need a dedicated support email

Still has a new battery fully charged. I was using the drill and it lost power. No light nothing. Drilll had been flawless then stopped unexpectedly. Swapped the battery and still no power

FixHub Portable Power Station: System Error Update Firmware?

This might be one of the worst updating features i have ever used. Not matter what i do. No matter what cable. No matter what version i cannot update my device to get it back to a usable state. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can get this soldering set back to working condition and not in a endless loop of failed updates

Black and Decker LDX 120C: Black and Decker 20 volt Battery wont charge

I have 2 Black & Decker 20 volt "Matrix" batteries.

During another household project, I used the battery as a power supply for something else. Low draw, was not getting hot. Discharged down to 17 volts. Now when I plug it in, charger just shows "bad battery".

Another just shows "bad battery" on the charger when I plug it in. It's practically new but I have no insight on that one.

Anyone familiar with how these opperate that might have a fix at least for the first one? My suspision is that somehow the battery knows it was used for something it should not have been. If that's the case...can it be reset?

Same problem with older 18 volt "Firestorm" battery. This could be age...but every battery (3) shows bad?

Craftsman Electric Drill 31510113 2015: Chuck removal on a Craftsman power drill

I have a model 315. 101 100 that I bought many years ago. I would like to attach it to a Craftsman Dowling jig which requires the removal of the Chuck. Most Chucks unscrew counterclockwise once a screw is removed, from the barrel of the Chuck.

Using a bright light, I see no screw, nor hex nut to remove. The base of Chuck has two flattened sides so as to accept an incredible thin wrench 🔧. The wrench might have come with the drill when bought, but is presently absent, and local tool stores carry no such wrench.

What do you recommend ? Can I lock the Chuck on a 90° HEX wrench and strike it hard in a CCW direction ?

Hello community, recently I brought this Ryobi SDS65. Went I finally goin make the first use, I notice that rotary hamner mode wasn't engaging, the drill and the chissel mode works well. I proceed to openen and check the issue because I throw to the trash the box some weeks ago. Went I open the transmission chamber everything pop out 😑. I already found the issue (selector rod was jammed with him self), but due to the pop out of the assemblies, not know the correct position of the pieces. I do some reverse engineering and have some advances, but I stuck here, and went I try to putted back to the chamber, not fit well, soo I don't know if I assembled the pieces correctly and don't know the trick to assemble back to the chamber without everything dismount again and fit well.

Ryobi Cordless Stapler P360 2016: It stopped shooting staples.

It is a Ryobi Cordless Stapler P360, but I dunno' what year.

It makes the normal noise, but doesn't shoot a staple.

Sometimes makes the Click sound (like when pushing a staple)

but no staple comes out.

Battery is full. Air pressure dial is at almost maximum.

Light comes on intermittently.

I'd gladly take it apart before simply trashing it.

Is there a DIY fix I can attempt?
