PSP 2000: psp 2000 series repair guide steps

I have a psp 2001 series with a UMD disk drive with a worn out laser. Games are no longer being read. There is a guide for psp 2000 umd drive replacement, but there are some steps that I'm not understanding.

1) On step 10, it says to pinch upper arms to dislocate them from the UMD door. The UMD bracket can now be easily pulled out. How do you remove the bracket? The bracket is still secure in the unit.

2) On step 10, it says to gently pry on the left hand side of the UMD door to remove it. How do you remove the door because the door is still secure in the unit.

I have done all steps to step 10 and I'm puzzled.

PSP 2000: PSP 2000 Battery not working correctly

I bought a brand new PSP 2000/3000 battery off amazon a while ago since my other one seemed to have died. It worked when I put it in the for the first time, but after that, the battery would disconnect and reconnect very quickly (at least according to the XMB and P Tester) The system would still work fine plugged in without the battery, but if I have the battery inserted while plugged in, the PSP would assume the battery is full after a couple of minutes and shut down, requiring me to remove the battery and the power adapter to boot back up.

I've also tried different adapters, 2 USB/Charging cables and an official Sony charger.

Can somebody help?

PSP 2000: Is there a way to remove Battery connector from the logic board?

I need help with salvaging my PSP 2000. My last attempt before dumping it away.

PSP 2000: Why am I getting irregular voltages from the psp charging socket. and

The batteries of my psp 2000 and psp 1000 game consoles were dead. I used the original bms circuit of the batteries and assembled them on circuits with the same epproom, but it cannot charge the new 1500 mah 3.7 V batteries I installed and the orange light flashes slowly when I plug it in. However, the battery in the video has its own BMS circuit, I tried everything. I installed only Sony BMS and it did not work, I used two BMSs and it did not work, I used only the non-original BMS and it did not work. I would be glad if you could help, have a good day.
