<![CDATA[iFixit - Answers With Device "Other CD Player"]]> https://zh.ifixit.com/Answers/Device/Other_CD_Player/All?rss=yes en-US Sat, 02 May 2026 22:48:48 -0700 <![CDATA[Other CD Player: CD not playing in only this CD player]]> Hello, i was gifted a cd player recently i think the brand is Durabrand. i have played quite a few CDs on it and they work perfectly. now i have a CD of my favorite album and i was so excited to play it, there is not even a single scratch, but when i put it in it just spun and the screen just blinked “ - - “ then stopped spinning and showed two zeros. i tested this exact CD in other CD players or my car and it works perfectly. i have CDs made around the same time and before and they work fine, i can’t figure out the issue.

It is not playing any sound, from any source. The device is on, it is not muted, and I have tried several volumes, disc's, and radio stations. Am I missing something or is the device defective?
