I recently dropped my camera recently on accident, though the camera didn't power off right away then; it did slowly start to break. It would randomly power off when I tried to take pictures, etc. Now it's completely broke, the lens is out and while I can turn it on still it will only turn on for a second and the lens won't retract back in. How do I fix this?

Kodak EasyShare C195: Dead camera. Stopped during power-up

C195 Easy Share camera. I turned it on and the lens came half way out and the whole camera stopped completely. At this point, it’s a paperweight. The lens is out half way and it does nothing at all. Yes, I tried the batteries. They are brand new and work in other devices with high drain. Any suggestions? Maybe it’s just a bad solder joint? (I have electronics experience so I can probably fix this.)

The camera turns on, and the LCD lights up, but only white. No image. No image for taking pictures, or reviewing. The camera will take a picture. I did this, then reviewed the memory card in another camera. But nothing shows up on the camera's LCD. It's obviously ON, but just plain white screen.

(My camera's actually an M552 but that wasn't an option on here)

Every time I plug in my camera, the light between the power and photo buttons blinks once or twice like it's supposed to; after a second it stays on, then the backlight on the screen turns on. After a few more seconds the camera just turns on and there's no "plugged in" indicator on the display.

If I turn it off when this happens, it turns off and acts like it isn't plugged in to the charger at all. Sometimes moving around the cord will make it all happen again, as if the cord were out of alignment.

When it's plugged in the battery seems to be full, but unplugging it reveals it to be critically low.

I've tried it with at least four different charging cords, outlets all over my house, and I've tried just leaving it plugged in. It simply will not charge like it's supposed to. I've tried cleaning the battery and the battery socket as well as the micro-USB port.

Does it just need a new battery?

where could I buy a new one beam splitter ,because the coating of beam splitter does not exist and when view through viewfinder the triangle from the rangefinder is not longer visible , and i try using a piece of blank 35mm color negative that has been processed which I put behind the beam splitter, and followed these procedures the triangle of beam splitter is visible , but appears as double triangle, probable first triangle is a reflection of 35mm colour negative film procesed , and the second triangle is reflection of beamsplitter glass.What do you think.Thanks
