Dehumidifier: Float attachment to switch arm

The float of my RJ50FE dehumidifier came off the end of the switch arm, and it isn't clear how it attaches. The float is a cylindrical hunk of plastic with an end-to-end hole through the center. There is also a "V" shaped wire clip with "L" bends on the end of each leg of the "V". The metal switch arm has a single hole near the outer end, just large enough for only one wire of the clip to pass at a time. The float has to deflect whenever the bucket is removed or inserted. How does the float get attached?

Ceiling fan: Can I use just the 4.5uf lead of a multi-rated capacitor?

I have a ceiling fan with TWO capacitors, a 4.5uf 3-wire cap and a 4uf+5uf 3-wire cap. The only 4.5uf 3-wire caps I can find are around $30 each, which seems crazy. Can I replace it with a multi-uF-rated cap, but only use the 4.5uf line? Or use a 2-wire 4.5uf cap and connect together the wires that currently connect to the two gray (common?) wires? Or replace both caps with one 5-wire cap w/ 4, 4.5 and 5 all in one?

The two gray (common?) leads on the 4.5uf cap confuse me. Why do caps have two wires that are shown as common on their circuit diagram?

I also noticed that the diagram on the 4uf+5uf cap shows two gray wires, but there's actually only one. Again, confusing!

Delonghi portable upright air conditioner: Need advice on how to disassemble Delonghi PAC EM82K.1 portable airco

Dear community of IFixIt

Today I attempted to deep clean my Delonghi Pac Em82K.1

I removed every possible screw I could find, but nothing from the outer casing would move at all except for the top display panel (and only slightly). I looked everywhere online, but could not find a guide neither by Delonghi or by other people on how to disassemble it.

Therefore I wonder if anyone here could help me figure out how to disassemble this unit so I can properly clean it, to make sure it functions as long as possible.

I have a suspicion that it is being held in place by very annoying and stubborn plastic clips. I tried prying open the top but to no avail.

I sent an e-mail to their customer support team and they told me opening/disassembling the device will void my warranty and that due to safety reasons they will not provide me with instructions on how to disassemble it. Seems like another one of those anti-right to repair companies.

My portable delonghi pinguino a/c unit suddenly started making loud wheezing/grinding type noise this morning when I turned on it still is trying to get cold but isn’t doing it very well. The noise has gotten louder also too and honestly I’m afraid running it is going to cause more potential damage. Anyone know what it could be? I have a video showing it but having issues posting it here. Only happenes when ac is on and then stops when just fan is on.
