HMD Fusion: Power + Volume Up does not seem to take me to the Recovery menu.

How can I hard reset the device?

I am able to reach fastboot mode with a Volume Down + Power button hold when device is off. However, that only has 'Start', 'Restart Bootloader', and 'Off' as options.

When I try to reach recovery mode by Volume Up + Power button like other HMD devices it just keeps booting or rebooting depending on if I let up or not after the HMD logo shows.

How do I factory reset?

I tried asking HMD Chat Support for a firmware to flash in fastboot but they will not give a stock image.

HMD Fusion: Where to find an HMD fusion replacement screen?

The HMD fusion TA-1658 replacement screen is out of stock on this website. I am trying to find a reliable replacement elsewhere but not having much luck. Received a kit from Amazon only to find out it didn't include the T3 Torx screwdriver required to remove the screws on the back even though the posting stated it was a kit for a TA-1658. So I decided no to trust them to provide the correct screen replacement and returned it. This is the one I already tried: https://www.amazon.com/HMD-Fusion-Replac...

Thank you for your advice. I really want to at least try to fix it myself but I want to ensure I have the correct parts. Thanks

HMD Fusion: Is there a FM radio module?

The presentation page of the phone on the Ifixit site is, to my knowledge, the only page mentioning the presence of this module. (some other websites mention that there is no such module and the brand site doesn't say anything about it).

So is it possible to listen to the radio without needing an internet connection?

Thank you for your response!

HMD Fusion: Alternate Source for Screen Assembly

I have been searching for a replacement screen assembly, part number 70101506H001, but iFixit has been out of stock for four months. Does anyone have an alternate location where I can purchase a genuine HMD part in North America?

Thank you.

HMD Fusion: Where to aquire parts after HMD has stopped operations in USA?

Hello. i have a HMD fusion. It was purchased new in a MicroCenter in the USA. Parts such as the screen & battery used to be listed in the ifixit store as they are partners. However if you check now:
HMD Fusion Battery
you will find them not sold in the USA. This is true for every part except a spare sim try, or for a specific variant (ta-1640) a back cover is also available. No other parts.
When chatting with a rep, i was told:

According to their website as of june 16th 2026:

I should also note that this device is still being sold new on retailers such as amazon, micro center, newegg, & prob other places even though they no longer service the usa with the services that they are advertising, which is also the most valuable decision to me when making a purchase.

This device was purchased by me because i thought id be able to keep it alive for longer since the brand distributed parts. This phone is also listed on ifixit's page for most repair friendly phone which is a huge green flag for a new device purchase for me. I believe they should no longer have a position on this list if this is the case.
list of phone repair scores
Anyways, rant over, is there somewhere else that i am able to get parts from here in the USA?
