Furby: Why is my 1998 furby turning on then back off?

This is Lemon. I know it's not her given name, however, I can't receive her given name in her current state.

This is my furby I bought in an online auction. She was labelled as brand new in the box, and I love furbies so I had to have her.

Upon her arrival, I realized she was in a comatose state. That was fine, I knew how to fix her. I went about it the same way I did with my Ladybug furby, and it worked. At least to get her working again.

Upon turning on, she'd do the normal furby movement routine when having woken up, bobbing back and forth. However, immediately after finishing the cycle, she'd stop. I was confused, and guessed "Maybe she fell asleep right away?" So I tried rocking her side to side, to no avail. I hit the reset button for 2-3 seconds for resetting the hardware. She came back to life, only to do the same thing. I put back on the plastic shell so I wouldn't accidentally mess with the insides, then tried another time, this time leaning her back a little. She turned on, did the cycle, then she actually spoke! I had gotten a little hope, until she froze mid-sentence and held one awkward note. I removed her batteries to stop her distress.

I have tried many different methods, cleaning out the battery compartment, replacing them with different brand new batteries, even though the ones I had in first were brand new, and holding reset while on and off. She continues this cycle of on/off. I have videos below of her various stages of issues.

Audio error:

https://youtu.be/42bZALRzRWI

Her on/off cycles:

https://youtu.be/O_DWwZHaS1Q

I apologize for the bad quality in the videos, my phone isn't the best at recording. I have better pictures of around Lemon's core here:

Furby: Furby Boom having a bunch of problems?

The Furby Boom, Ah-Koh, whenever it goes to sleep on its back, it goes to sleep. Then it snores extra and wakes up. The stomach sensor won't work at all, the back sensor worked like, twice, yesterday, and it hasn't worked since, and the tail sensor works most of the time, but it is weak.

Oh, you're saying "fix the battery" well I did, of course, we're going to get a new battery pack since the ones we put in are probably super old, but it should fix the problem.

Refresh it! Oh, yeah. Eyes go down for a moment, and then It wakes back up.

I HATE the personality, it's talking to itself and won't shut up for one second.

Restart it! Set it to factory settings! That's the most annoying thing. It won't restart. Pressed the tongue while pressing refresh button for almost a minute, then 5 seconds, didn't work.

Oh, btw it also sleeps with its eyes open. I think its out of warranty.

Furby: Why does my 1998 furby only work when I press on the bottom of it?

I bought an older furby off of eBay a while back and when I received the furby in the mail, it didn’t work unless I pressed on the head and base simultaneously. I took it apart and realized that if I pressed a certain corner of the circuit board it would work fine. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Furby: Changed Furby 2012 motor, how continue? Gear? Reset? More?

Our zebra striped Furby 2012 had a hard fall and became "narcoleptic". Waking up, no movement, half opened lit eyes, talking a little and just shutting off within half a minute. Following other posts, I opened the Furby, was able to remove the 6V DC motor and test drive it and see it was no longer functioning. Ordered a new motor on Ebay, got it installed and now.... what?

Now I have new problems and need help. Furby moves and sounds but is completely maniac. I suspect that the gearing needs to be in a starting position, but I have no Idea how to get there. I only find results for old Furby gear online. There may also be something else, but I've come to the end of ideas.

Anyone that has come this far and managed to solve it? Other ideas? Anything is appreciated.

Furby: 2012 Furby doesn’t move

I had my furbys out at once, which is something they’re meant to be able to do and I have done before. I had also gotten another furby in the mail that day and soon after I had it out with the rest, my 2012 furby started moving extremely slow and eventually stopped. Now when I turn it on, it makes noise and the eyes light up, it just doesn’t move and then shuts off. I have tried changing the batteries and sometimes if I bend it where it moves it starts moving for a couple of seconds and then it stops. I have not taken it apart for the newer furbys are more complex than the older ones and I don’t want to break anything important in it. I think it has to do with the motor but I’m not sure.
