Anyone know what is causing this and/or how to fix it?

Steps:

  • Turn on laptop (defaults to Bluetooth on) and UE Boom (previously paired).
  • First attempt. Connect laptop to UE Boom via laptop toolbar. Fails to connect. This sometimes 1-3 times.
  • Second attempt. Turn on UE Boom and try to connect via laptop toolbar again. This results in UE Boom turning off instead of connecting.
  • Third attempt. Turn on UE Boom and once again try to connect via laptop toolbar. This time the connection is made and UE Boom behaves normally until turned off.

my Bluetooth speaker stopped charging one day. As far as I know it did not suffer any physical damage or anything of sorts. I used to carry it with me sometimes but usually in a bag.

It still has some juice in it because it turns on but after a few seconds turns itself of with not enough battery. LED indicator doesn't even lit up when I connect it to USB cable.

I already opened the device and well everything looks in place. So, if anyone have any idea of what might be the faulty part I would be grateful for suggestions.

It's actually pretty cheap but I am kinda curious what went wrong.

While charging, if I try to turn it on, it just says "Charging, please wait". It still won't work no matter how long I leave it charging, though the white light is still flashing as normal. Is the battery toast? I did use it outside on a day with a lot of fog
