I tried putting my 2nd gen pencil on my new 13" iPad Air but they definitely changed the polarity and/or placement of the magnets. The Air is also unable to see the device over Bluetooth when it should be discoverable.

Would be interesting to see a teardown of the Pencil Pro where it is compared to the Gen 2 pencil to see what changed.
