Amazon Fire TV Stick: Screen says unable to update your fire stick TV

The TV has a blue screen with a small fire stick logo when it says unable to update your fire stick TV try disconnecting the power cable for a few seconds and then plugging it back in. It does nothing. I’ve forced it to reboot and comes back to the screen every time

Firestick does not see any bluetooth devices. Trying to make it pair with my Samsung S7 phones. Did unplug it, waited, plugged it in, connected to the remote but till no bluetooth devices detected. What am I missing?

Amazon Fire TV Stick: Fire TV Stick does not reconnect to WiFi

My WiFi network experiences periodic outage and when the modem is rebooted other devices reconnects to the same network without having to reboot those devices. But fire tv stick will not reconnect to the WiFi. It will continue to display Network Error on the screen until the stick is rebooted. Is that an issue with my modem/router or with the fire tv settings?

I bought a new fire stick. Of course it came with a remote. I can get the remote to pair to the fire stick. But it will not control the fire stick. The fire stick just sits on the press select to start prompt. I have rebooted the fire stick numerous times. I have change the batteries in the remote numerous times. I have repaired the remote to the fire stick numerous times. And I have tried this on a second TV. Nothing seems to make the fire stick actually respond.

When I plug the fire stick in to the TV it causes the TV to turn on and off every few minutes. There is no problems with the TV when y remove the stick and I can use the HDMI sockets for other TV boxes with out a problem.

I have just updated the latest fire stick software.

All done but now I can’t enter the settings for the fire stick. Tried reboot, also unplugged . Still will not let me into the settings mode!

Hello, I have a fire stick attached to my device. I also have Amazon Prime so I can watch videos.

If I rent my house to guests (like through Airbnb), I would like the guest to be able to watch video on firestick but obviously not be able to buy videos or order other items. How do I make sure others cannot purchase items on my account but still give them ability to use my account to watch videos? Is that even possible?

Hello!

I wasn't going to post in here until I got my last question figured out, but I have this and I want to do this ASAP.

So my fire stick is a bit wonky, not always wanting to power on. So I'm not sure at times if I have the wrong channel, or if it's the USB cord/port, or if it's the HDMI port.

So I thought I could add a power LED to indicate if it's receiving power, so that way I at least know it is getting power.

This is assuming the LED won't drain too much power ( which I don't think it will)

I just need to know where to install the light. I have an idea where, but I want to be 100% certain.

Amazon Fire TV Stick: Firestick stop working on TV

My firestick stopped working so I ordered anew one. It won't pair and I cannot get the app screen to stay on. I have ITV and other apps on the TV and can't get to them or the settings. The only thing that comes on without my choosing is one channel on teh ITV app. Nothing on the firestick can change it. Really strange problem.
